Itinerary
Days 1 & 2: Miami and Islamorada. Start in Biscayne Bay in Miami and dock at Miami Beach Marina in South Beach; take a stroll up and down Ocean Drive and tour the Art Deco hotel strip, stopping for lunch along the way. Enjoy the beach for the rest of the afternoon, and then head to The Dutch for dinner at the W Hotel. After breakfast, cruise down to Islamorada and stop to visit the Theater of the Sea and History of Diving Museum; have lunch at MEAT Eatery
and Taproom.
Days 3 & 4: Key Largo. Set sail for Key Largo through Hawk Channel and enjoy a dive or snorkel along Coral Reef State Park or swim with the dolphins at Dolphins Plus; lunch at Mrs. Mac’s Kitchen for great seafood, then continue further south to Key West and Little Palm Island. Along the way south, snorkel at Looe Key National Park, a stunningly colorful reef, or stroll along the beaches of Bahia Honda; see Ernest Hemingway’s home and the old turtle kraals; later, Mallory Square, known for its sunsets, is also great for people watching, dining and exciting nightlife.
Day 5: Dry Tortugas. Set course for Loggerhead Key in the Dry Tortugas; visit the shallow flats filled with sea rays and have lunch on the boat or head back to Key West and have a late lunch at Paseo Restaurant on Eaton Street.
