The US Superyacht Association board of directors has been closely monitoring and assessing the growing global Coronavirus concern and its impact on continuing the 7th Annual Superyacht Summit – scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, 2020 in West Palm Beach, FL.

“In this ever changing environment that has been impossible to predict and continues to evolve daily, the board voted unanimously today to postpone the Summit,” said Kate Pearson, USSA Chair. “This decision was not taken lightly and involved much discussion and research and was made with the ultimate goal of optimizing infection prevention and support of our members, sponsors, presenters and all concerned.”

“The Superyacht Summit has been a cornerstone event for our association and the industry and we regret that we were unable to present it at this time,” said Diane Byrne, Superyacht Summit Chair and USSA Vice Chair.

In the coming weeks, we look forward to releasing details about the new date, and subsequently hosting an even more successful Summit for everyone involved.

For the same safety reasons, the USSA’s 6th Annual Golf Classic has also been moved to Friday, April 24, 2020 at Jacaranda Golf Club in Plantation, Florida.
