The U.S. Superyacht Association is proud to recognize USSA Member Total Marine Solutions (TMS) on achieving Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) No. 25 designation through Port Everglades.
A Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) allows companies to defer, reduce, or eliminate duties on imported goods while improving logistics efficiency and cash flow — a meaningful advantage for marine businesses operating in a global marketplace.
This designation, granted through Broward County Government as the FTZ grantee, enables Total Marine Solutions to operate as an approved FTZ user, providing a streamlined pathway for importing equipment and spare parts while optimizing duty management and logistics strategy.
As a trusted service provider supporting yacht owners, captains, and crew, TMS imports significant volumes of equipment and technical components annually. Through FTZ participation, the company can defer or eliminate duties on qualifying imports, enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce operational costs, and strengthen its overall competitive positioning within the global yachting market.
“We are grateful for the guidance and support of Fred Rogacki and James Teachman with IWS, Krystal Permanan with the Port Everglades MPA team, Donna Newman Young with Port Everglades, and Michel Zorotouza with Compass Logistics & Marine,” said Alex Anagnostis-Irons, Founder and President of Total Marine Solutions.
This milestone reflects Total Marine Solutions’ continued commitment to operational excellence, forward-thinking logistics strategy, and delivering enhanced value to its clients across the superyacht sector.
USSA congratulates Alex and the TMS team on this achievement and their ongoing leadership within our industry.
