Originally from Dallas, Texas, Lisa Eding earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from the University of North Texas. Her 25 year experience as a Human Resources professional in various industries has ranged from publishing, automotive and the entertainment industry to the Texas prison system including 18 years working with skilled trades. Her focus on leadership development, employee relations, and lifelong learning has helped her repeatedly produce some of the best places to work in Florida.
As the incoming HR Director, Lisa aims to provide strategic planning for
employee satisfaction through staff development, equitable and consistent
policy administration, and legal compliance. Asked to comment on traits she brings to TDS, CEO Richard Strauss cited her “Strong business acumen, strategic planning, and long–term business vision. This most recent addition to the TDS family promises a wealth of in–depth, hands–on experience to lead organizational development and human resources initiatives.”
Lisa moved to Sarasota in 1997 and is a graduate of Leadership Sarasota. Off the clock, Lisa serves her community by volunteering her time for professional, non–profit, and educational organizations such as CareerSource Suncoast, Manatee Technical College (MTI), Goodwill Manasota, Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, Junior League of Sarasota, and the Sarasota Human Resources Association.
