Burger Boat Company Announces Leadership Transition
Manitowoc, WI – Burger Boat Company, a recognized leader in shipbuilding design, engineering, and construction, has completed a major leadership transition that sets the stage for continued growth across its New Construction Yacht, Commercial Vessel, Military Vessel, and Refit/Repair divisions.
After more than three decades of hands-on leadership and over 15 years as President and CEO, Jim Ruffolo has transitioned to the role of Chairman. In this new capacity, he will focus on long-term strategic oversight and governance while continuing to uphold the craftsmanship and endurance that define the Burger brand.

Burger has appointed a new executive leadership team:

Nick Siler, President & Chief Executive Officer – Brings extensive leadership experience from Modine Manufacturing Company, Bradley Corporation, and Enercon Industries. He will lead company strategy, culture, and sustainable growth initiatives.

Rich Thompson, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer – Responsible for business development across all segments, brand strategy, and market expansion, drawing on leadership experience with Illinois Tool Works, DuPont, and Newell Rubbermaid.

David Villar, Chief Operating Officer – Oversees shipyard and joinery operations, engineering, supply chain, and quality, with senior leadership experience from GE Healthcare, GE Power & Water, Bradley Corporation, and Perlick Corporation.

Tom Connor, Chief Financial Officer – A 20-year Burger veteran who continues to lead Finance, HR, IT, and Legal operations within the new structure.
This strengthened leadership team positions Burger Boat Company to enhance performance, drive innovation, and continue delivering excellence in shipbuilding and repair.
