American Vessel Documentation Association, Inc. (AVDA) was founded in l995 for the advancement of the vessel documentation profession in the United States. Members share knowledge with one another and attend educational presentations at annual meetings. AVDA interacts regularly with the Coast Guard on regulatory matters effecting vessel documentation.
